Foccus Digital will showcase at the  SET EXPO 2017 the Smart Telecaster Zao-s H.265/HEVC Encoder, by Japanese company, Soliton. Ultralight, compact and portable, it can be accommodated in a backpack on the body or directly on bicycles, cameras and drones. It transmits high-quality and robust movement on video, even in locations where band width is extremely limited.

Those responsible for Foccus, the local distributor, assert that “Soliton Zao-s is exceptionally stable and ideal for mobile streaming, live sports and journalistic applications”. It transmits high-quality video and audio over 3G/4G/Wi-fi networks directly to the server, YouTube, Facebook, Wowza.

The new H.265 Zao-s encoder, in addition to being portable, promises to reduce band consumption and operating costs.

Besides the new addition, the Foccus Digital booth at the  SET EXPO 2017 will have partners like Canon, Aviat, Gates Air, Grass Valley, DTC, ERI, Palma Technology, and cables company, Belden.
