Hitachi Vantara acquires US company REAN Cloud

Agreement should expand the company’s cloud and managed services resources portfolio in order to accelerate the digital transformations in public, private and hybrid cloud environments
São Paulo, July 26, 2018 — Hitachi Vantara, a full subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501) is announcing the acquisition of REAN Cloud LLC, a global integrator of cloud systems, managed services provider and developer of in-cloud native applications for Big Data, Machine Learning and the Internet of Things (IoT) environments. Founded in 2013, REAN Cloud quickly became recognized as one of the leading integrators of cloud systems, earning the status of AWS Premier Consulting Partner and Microsoft Azure Silver Partner.
The acquisition will boost the capacity of Hitachi Vantara to accelerate secure adoption of the corporate cloud in multi-cloud environments, in addition to strengthening the company’s ability to manage and operate traditional applications, as well as the increasing workloads in artificial intelligence and machine learning. “The modernized infrastructure functioning both on and of the premises, and the analysis and governance of intelligent data, are the fundamental pillars supporting the digital transformations of our clients. The acquisition of REAN Cloud significantly expands Hitachi’s portfolio of solutions for clients and partners in these areas”, said Brian Householder, executive director of Hitachi Vantara.

REAN Cloud clients can expect the continuation of the high-quality services already provided by the company’s team, but now enhanced by the global delivery resources of Hitachi Vantara and by market-leading digital solutions.

2018 SET EXPO
