Tecsys do Brasil is a company specializing in DVBS/S2 generation, transmission and monitoring solutions on ISDBT.

At this year’s SET EXPO, in partnership with Tredess and Gsertel, it is offering the market Tecsys encoders with very highly efficient algorithms.

The equipment encodes audio and video signals in H.264, creating output flow (TS) to the ASI (EN50083) standard compatible with DVB and ISDB-T standards. It enables high-definition services with high quality and low compression rates, leading to savings in bandwidth with the ASI outlet and Ethernet TSoIP.

The encoders are fully configurable and monitorable via IP/Ethernet, by means of a web interface built in to the equipment and user friendly.

The signals generated are re-multiplexed to produce the BTS delivered to the transmitter or transmitted via satellite in DVBS/S2.

With the TS6200/8200 set, the signals are received via satellite and transmitted on UHF power outputs of up to 2KW digital.

The transmitted signals can be monitored using Gsertel brand fixed equipment (installed at the television channels) or portable units that make high-precision measurements in a simple and intuitive manner, capturing signals in ASI and IP.
