Liliana Nakonechnyj - President of SET

LILIANA NAKONECHNYJ.  President of SET. She graduated in telecommunications engineering at PUC-Rio. A large part of her professional life has been dedicated to deploying television distribution systems, initially analog, and later digital – terrestrial broadcasting stations as well as radio, satellite and fiber optics based contribution and distribution systems. Also, for many years, she was in charge of engineering support for broadcasters affiliated to TV Globo. She has always been interested in promoting new technologies, leading studies and tests for the introduction of digital television in Brazil between 1994 and 2006, and demonstrations and tests of UHDTV in more recent years. She represents SET at the IBC Council.

Keynote Speaker: Fábio Coelho - President of Google Brasil

Fábio Coelho is vice president of Google Inc. and since 2011 he has been CEO of Google Brasil, one of the most admired and innovative companies in Brazil, winner of the Great Place to Work Award for 7 consecutive years, between 2010 and 2016, and elected “Empresa dos Sonhos dos Jovens” (The Company Young People Dream About) in 2015, 2014 and 2011 by Cia de Talentos, a talent selection and development company. In 2015 and 2016, Fábio was considered one of Brazil’s top 10 CEOs by Forbes Brasil magazine. Fábio has a degree in civil engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), a Master’s in Administration from COPPEAD-UFRJ and a postgraduate degree from Harvard. He has held executive positions in marketing, sales and general management in the world of the Internet, as well as in telecommunications, financial services and consumer products in companies such as Citibank, P&G and PepsiCo. Fábio worked for over a decade in the United States as President of AT&T’s digital business. Since returning to Brazil in 2009, Fábio has been working to help foster the digital ecosystem. In addition to the IAB Brasil, where he was President in 2011-2012, then Chairman of the Board in 2013-2014, Fábio has been a member of the board of Graded School (Escola Graduada de São Paulo) since 2013 and advocates for entrepreneurship and education.
