In the last years, the competition has grown a lot mainly because the availability of new content distribution channels and the technological developments. We know that the information is what really counts and, increasingly, we need to have more agility in the daily news coverage. In this panel we will show real cases of how broadcasters are equipping themselves aiming to give more agility and quality to the news content and also discuss the new available technologies in order to give more flexibility to the live coverage for the broadcasters.

Electrical engineer graduated at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul), post-graduated in Business and People Strategic Leadership at ESPM-RS. Initiated his career at RBS as the Technical Coordinator of RBSTV Uruguaiana. Afterwards, he returned to Porto Alegre, where he worked in projects of RBS new facilities, such as RBS Video São Paulo and RBSTV Santa Cruz. Then, for 10 years, Caio was the Technical Director of TVE-Rio Grande do Sul. In 2005, he returned to RBS to be the Technical Manager of the Group's radio stations. During this time, he participated on the news coverage of the 2006, 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups, the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympic Games and the 2006, 2010 and 2017 FIFA World Cup Clubs, events where he was responsible for the RBS Group's logistic. In 2009, Caio returned to RBSTV Porto Alegre as the Operations Executive Manager and also participated on big coverages, like the 2014 Brazil's FIFA World Cup and 2017 FIFA World Cup Clubs in Abu Dhabi.

Graduated in Electronics and Systems Engineering, and later specialization in Telecommunications, at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). He began his professional life in Brazilian military projects, as a designer of radar systems and controls of frigate arms and the Minas Gerais Navy Aircraft Carrier. In the telecommunications area, he joined Embratel in 1999, working on the implementation of the first ATM networks, developing QoS (Quality of Service) for services in Frame Relay and IP Backbone networks, in the implementation of the first digital TV signal transport network for contributions to TV broadcasters at national level, the design of the new network for IP video contribution to TV broadcasters (EvSOL) and testing and deployment of the first WiMax, Metro Ethernet and GPON networks. Integrated in the ​​Technological Evolution area, he has always worked in the development of new products and services, such as "Netfone", and research and development of new technologies such as IoT, 4,5G, 5G, SDN and NFV, for the whole Claro Brasil group. Also participates in the Commission of Frequencies of the Project 5G Brazil of Telebrasil, as one of the rapporteurs.

Electronic Engineer graduated from CEFET RJ, with Post-Graduation in Economic Engineering by UERJ, MBA in Business Management by ESPM and MBA in Project Management by FGV. He began his career in Telephony and Transmission in the former State Company Telerj and gave after his 24-year career in TV Globo, where he underwent several areas of support as Specialist and Executive. He has led the Traffic Signals area in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo for 3 years, thus managing the Technology of External in RJ. He participated in several projects and events on TV GLOBO related to all the areas of Content Production of Grupo Globo.
