First meeting of the SET IP Group takes place next Friday (17th)

switcher tvThe first meeting of the SET IP Studies Group takes place next Friday (17th). The theme of the talk will be NMI (Networked Media Interface) and will be given by the specialist from Sony, Erick Soares de Oliveira.

The talk will cover the reasons and technical issues that led Sony to develop NMI, as well as its evolution and the current state of the technology.

The meeting will take place from 10 am until 12 noon, at the SET central offices on Av. Auro Soares de Moura Andrade, 252, Barra Funda District, São Paulo.

The IP Group

The aim of the IP Studies Group is to deepen and disseminate current knowledge about the new developments, standards and alliances being applied to transmit signals in real time using IP technology. It will be coordinated by José Antônio Garcia, member of the SET Technology Committee and Engineering Manager of EBC.
