SET’s Marketing Director, Cláudio Younis, was in New York for the Content and Communications World 2015 (CCW 2015), an NAB event that was held at the Javits Convention Center, on November 11 and 12.

Consisting of a trade show with over 300 exhibitors, in addition to a conference session, the CCW attracts around seven thousand visitors every year from the media and entertainment markets, in search of the latest developments in new technologies.

This year, with a view to enhancing the CCW, now in its twelfth year, NAB has undertaken a series of actions to reposition this product on the market. The first of these involved a closer relationship with InfoComm, thereby increasing the potential for visitors and exhibitors.CCW postprod campus1

“The partnership is also putting its chips on a program of talks very similar to our Pro AV Workshop held during SET EXPO in August”, said Younis.

The second change involved renaming CCW, which will now be called NAB Show New York. “We are seeking to strengthen the brand while adding value to the event”, NAB explained.
