Form April 18 – 20, in Las Vegas (USA), SET will once again hold the 2016 SET BREAKFAST @ NAB Show, a conference on technology in the fields of communication engineering, broadcasting and new media. This is the 25th edition of the event that began in 1991, thanks to an initiative by Adilson Pontes Malta, founder and president of SET at that time.

This silver anniversary is being celebrated by both SET´s executive board and the organizers of the NAB Show, the world’s most important annual industry event for new technologies and business solutions for the media and entertainment industry.

“Our partnership stems from the objectives shared by both SET and NAB: to drive technological development, to offer professional and networking opportunities and to foster new businesses”, explained Olímpio José Franco, president of SET.

“NAB Show continues to benefit from our partnership with SET. We share very similar goals of showcasing global innovation, facilitating education and providing new business opportunities for our members. The Brazilian delegation has been one of the largest and most loyal at our event. Such partnerships, exchanges and programs benefit the global market as a whole”, said Margaret Cassilly, NAB vice president for International Programs.

The SET BREAKFAST @ NAB Show draws over 400 participants over this 3-day event in room N116, North Hall meeting room complex of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event kicks off at 7:00am (0700hours) and concludes prior to the opening of the show floor each morning. “We finish about 9:30am, before exhibit halls open each morning”, Franco explains.
