How online content has revolutionized the communication industry

A survey released in early July of this year by the largest company specializing in creating online content in Brazil indicated that 67.3% of companies adopt some strategy involving online content in their marketing actions. And that more than eight out of ten (85.8%) who have not yet adopted this type of action intend to do so soon. Of those who have already adopted the tool, 54.9% intend to increases their budget for this sector in the months ahead.

These are just a few of the figures that prove the importance of this market, which is growing day by day and which has revolutionized the communication industry. To discuss this issue, the production manager of YouTube Space Rio, Fernanda Siqueira, will be the moderator on the panel “Online Content Production: a market that is growing day by day”, to run from 9:20 to 10:40 am on August 26 within the schedule of the 31st Technology and Media and Entertainment Business Conference organized by SET.

“The advent of platforms for sharing online content was a disruptive milestone in the audiovisual production market. It has severely influenced the way of doing business in our (audiovisual production and display market). And now, which path should this market take?”, the moderator asks.

The panel proposes to present experiences that were created for different platforms of the digital universe, in addition to showing how the creative side of entrepreneurs in this market has created a range of opportunities for brands and, consequently, jobs for professionals in the fields. “It is important to understand the direction that market is taking, so that one can make strategic business decisions. The content creators on this panel will give us an overview of the directions in which this market is headed”, Fernanda asserts.

She will have the company of Antonio Tabet, one of the creators of the Porta dos Fundos channel and who also runs the My News channel, and Paulo Cuenca, founding partner of the Dani Noce channel.

The SET EXPO Conference expects to attract 2,000 attendees, who will watch over 50 panels and 200 talks over the four days of the event.

The program schedule includes topics on radio and audio; AV contribution and infrastructure; innovation and disruptive technologies; content production; audiovisual distribution and regulatory and standardization issues.
