SET Regional Sul (South) is a thematic seminar on broadcast technology and new media, and is a component of a series of get-togethers organized and held by SET throughout Brazil (SET Sul (South), SET Norte (North), SET Centro-Oeste (Mid-West), SET Nordeste (Northeast), and SET Sudeste (Southeast).
To present and discuss technical innovations, regulations and new products of the audiovisual market, covering the entire production chain, from creation through to distribution.
HOW THE EVENT WORKS
The event consists of talks and product demonstrations. During the event the participants discuss how to manage, produce, transmit and distribute multimedia electronic content while debating the current standards and regulations, with the emphasis on the current and future scenario for telecommunications.
Both the product demonstration sessions and the talks and debates at the event will feature executives, technicians, researchers and representatives of governmental bodies from the technology and broadcasting sectors.
The event is intended for professionals, researchers and students in the field of telecommunications, the audiovisual industry and broadcasting.
SET Sul will be held on May 31st and June 1st, 2016.
